How do I use it?

There are two ways to use Gemini in Google Docs to create images:

  1. Creating a cover image: To create a cover image, go to Insert > Cover image > Help me create an image or type "@" followed by Cover image > Help me create an image. Note: Cover images can only be added to documents set to pageless mode.

  2. Adding an image anywhere in the document: To add an image anywhere in your document, go to Insert > Image > Help me create an image. Type in an image description and optionally select a style for your image. Then click Create to generate image options. Select the image you like and it will be added to your document.

Tips & Tricks

  • Use pageless mode for cover images: To set up pageless mode go to File > Page setup > Pageless or Format > Switch to Pageless format

  • Be specific in your image description: Describe the image you want in detail, including the subject, setting, and style, for better results.

  • Experiment with styles: Try different image styles by selecting the style you want before clicking Create.
