Analyse PDFs

Gemini in the Drive file viewer allows you to interact with PDF documents and videos directly. You can generate automatic summaries, ask specific questions about the content, and create new materials like study plans or email drafts based on the file's information.

This feature is available for users with eligible Google Workspace or Google AI plans, including Business and Enterprise editions. It helps you quickly extract insights from long documents or identify action items from meeting recordings without leaving the Drive interface.

Double-click a PDF or video in Google Drive to open it in the overlay viewer. Click the Ask Gemini button at the top right of the navigation bar to open the side panel, where you can view the automatic summary or enter your own prompts.
