Context-Aware Access
Context-Aware Access allows admins to control access to Google Workspace apps based on the user's context, such as their identity, location, device security status, and IP address. This granular control ensures that only authorised users on compliant devices can access sensitive organisation data.
This feature is available for Workspace Enterprise, Education, and Frontline editions, as well as Cloud Identity Premium. It is universal for users within these editions but requires specific admin configuration to enforce policies across the organisation.
Open the Google Admin console, navigate to Security, then Access and data control, and select Context-Aware Access. From there, you can define access levels and assign them to specific Workspace applications to begin enforcement.
