Gemini in Chrome

Gemini in Chrome is an AI browsing assistant that provides answers and insights directly within the browser. It uses the context of the current webpage and up to ten additional tabs to help users summarise content, find information, and complete multi-step tasks.

The feature is available to most Google Workspace editions, including Business, Enterprise, and Education, provided the user is aged 18 or over. It requires the latest version of Chrome on MacOS, Windows, or Chromebook Plus devices.

Open the Chrome browser and sign in with a Workspace account. Click the Gemini icon in the side panel or type @gemini in the address bar to start a conversation. You can then choose to share your current tab context for more relevant responses.
