Watermarking

Google Meet can apply a subtle text overlay to video feeds and screen shares during a meeting. This watermark displays the meeting code and the viewer's email address, helping to protect confidential content and trace any unauthorised copies or recordings.

The feature is available for organisations with Google Workspace Business and Enterprise editions. It requires participants to be signed in to a Google Account and using a supported browser like Chrome or the latest mobile app.

To enable it, open the Host controls menu at the bottom right of the meeting window and toggle on the Add a watermark option. Note that enabling watermarks will disable recording and live streaming for that session.
