Avatar generation

Google Vids allows you to insert AI-generated avatars into your video scenes to narrate scripts. These preset avatars come with distinct appearances and built-in voices, removing the need for users to record their own audio or appear on camera.

The feature is available to most Google Workspace Business and Enterprise editions, with monthly generation limits based on the user's license. Higher limits are provided through AI Expanded Access and AI Ultra Access add-ons, while Business Starter users have promotional access for a limited time.

To use an avatar, open a video in Google Vids and click the AI avatar icon. Select a scene, enter your script, and choose from the available preset or custom avatar options before clicking generate to add the narrated clip to your project.
