Translated captions

Google Meet can translate spoken language into captions in a different language in real-time during a video call. This allows participants who speak different languages to follow the conversation more easily and ensures meetings are inclusive for global teams.

This feature is available for Workspace Business Standard and Plus, as well as Enterprise Standard and Plus editions. It is also included for users with specific Google AI and Education licences.

To use it, open a meeting and click the three-dot menu, then select Settings and Captions. Turn on captions, select the meeting's spoken language, and then enable translated captions to choose your preferred output language.
