Slide generation in Gemini app

Gemini can generate complete slide presentations from a simple text prompt or an uploaded source file within the Gemini app. It produces a structured set of slides including themes and relevant images, which can be exported directly to Google Slides for further editing.

This feature is available for Workspace users with Gemini add-ons. It is designed for professionals and educators who need to quickly transform documents, reports, or briefs into visual presentations without starting from a blank deck.

To start, open the Gemini app and select Canvas from the toolbar. Type a prompt such as 'create a presentation' and specify your topic or upload a source document to provide context for the slides.
