Gemini Chat provides a central interface for interacting with Google's most capable AI models to brainstorm, write, and analyse information. It integrates directly with Workspace data, allowing you to generate formatted files like Google Docs or Sheets and summarise content from Gmail and Drive within a single conversation.
The tool is available to all Google Workspace customers, with specific capabilities like Deep Research and higher usage limits reserved for Gemini Enterprise and Education tiers. It serves as the primary entry point for both general assistance and complex organisational tasks.
To start, visit the Gemini website or open the mobile app and enter a prompt in the chat box. You can upload files for analysis, ask questions about your Workspace data, or request the creation of specific document types directly from the conversation.
