Deep Research

Deep Research allows you to conduct in-depth, real-time research on almost any subject within Gemini Apps. It automatically synthesises information from Google Search, your personal files in Drive and Gmail, and NotebookLM notebooks to produce comprehensive reports.

This feature is available to users with Google AI Pro or Ultra plans, as well as Gemini Business, Enterprise, and Education subscribers. Users on the Ultra plan can also include interactive visuals like charts and diagrams in their research reports.

To start a report, go to the Gemini web app and click Tools, then select Deep Research from the menu. Enter your research prompt, review the generated research plan, and click Start research to begin the process.
