Grounded responses

Gemini can ground its responses in your organisation's data, including emails, documents, and calendar events. This ensures that the AI's answers are relevant to your specific context and based on your actual files.

Available across most Google Workspace editions. Users with Gemini Enterprise can also connect third-party data sources like Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft SharePoint to expand the AI's knowledge base.

To use it, open the Gemini app or the side panel in a Workspace app and type @ followed by the service name, such as @Gmail or @Drive. For third-party sources, an administrator must first configure the connectors in the Google Cloud console.
