NotebookLM can transform your uploaded sources into interactive flashcards to help with revision and active learning. These cards are grounded entirely in your provided documents, ensuring the content remains relevant to your specific study or research materials.

Available to all users with a Google Account, though daily generation limits vary by Workspace edition and AI add-on. Organisations on Business Standard and above receive higher daily limits, while AI Ultra Access provides the highest capacity.

Open a notebook and navigate to the Studio panel on the right-hand side. Select Flashcards from the available formats to generate a deck based on your sources. You can then flip through the cards, track your progress by marking them as known or missed, and shuffle the deck for further practice.
