Contextual smart replies

Gemini in Gmail reviews incoming messages to suggest personalised, contextual replies that match your tone and style. These suggestions use details from your emails, such as flight times or booking codes, to draft relevant responses that save time.

This feature is available for most Google Workspace editions and Google AI plans. It requires the English language setting and for smart features and personalisation to be enabled in Gmail settings.

To use it, open an email in the Gmail app on Android and tap a suggested reply at the bottom of the message. You can review and edit the draft before tapping the send button.
