The feature is available to all Google Workspace users with a Gemini add-on and organisations using the Gemini Enterprise platform on Google Cloud. It helps researchers and professionals access timely data directly within their AI-assisted workflows.
In the Gemini app, grounding is active by default for queries requiring current info. For Gemini Enterprise agents, administrators can enable it by navigating to the assistant configurations in the Google Cloud console and toggling on the Web Grounding option.
