Gemini helps you manage and respond to comments in Google Docs, allowing you to summarise comment threads, extract key themes, draft replies, and even suggest document edits based on reviewer feedback. This feature is available to users with edit access in Google Docs on Workspace Business Standard, Business Plus, Enterprise Standard, and Enterprise Plus editions, as well as those with Google AI Pro, AI Ultra, or AI Expanded Access add-ons. It is designed for anyone who regularly collaborates on documents and needs to efficiently process feedback.

You can access these capabilities from the bottom bar or the Gemini side panel within Google Docs. Gemini may also offer proactive nudges to summarise comments when you open a document or suggest replies when you click into an existing comment thread.
