Cross-app orchestration with Gemini

Gemini can now act as an intelligent orchestrator across Google Workspace, allowing you to prompt it from one app to perform tasks in others. This means you can ask Gemini to create documents, spreadsheets, or presentations, conduct research, draft emails, schedule meetings, or manage to-do lists without switching applications.

This feature is available for users on Workspace Business Standard and Plus, Enterprise Standard and Plus, and those with the AI Expanded Access or AI Ultra Access add-ons. It is designed for anyone who wants to streamline their workflow and reduce context switching between Workspace applications.

From within a supported Workspace app like Gmail, Docs, or Chat, use the Gemini side panel or "Ask Gemini" interface. Enter a prompt describing the task you want Gemini to perform, such as "Create a strategy brief for this project" or "Schedule some time for me to discuss next steps." Gemini will then execute the task across relevant Workspace apps.
