Gemini in Google Docs

Gemini in Google Docs allows you to generate, write, and refine documents directly within Google Docs. It can create fully formatted first drafts, edit existing text, and help maintain consistent writing styles and document formats. This capability now supports English, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, French, Korean, German, Italian, Mandarin, Dutch, Malay, Hebrew, Polish, Turkish, Czech, Indonesian, Swedish, Danish, and Norwegian.

This feature is for anyone using Google Docs who wants AI assistance with document creation and editing. It is available on Business Standard and Plus, Enterprise Standard and Plus, Education Plus, and with the Google AI Pro and AI Ultra Access add-ons.

To generate a new document, open a new Google Doc, enter your prompt, and click submit. To edit an existing document, hover over the spark icon near the bottom of your document and type a prompt in the bottom bar.
