Google Vault support for Gemini app

Google Vault can now apply retention rules and litigation holds to conversations within the Gemini app, both on the web and mobile. This extends Vault's eDiscovery capabilities to cover data generated by the Gemini app.

This feature is for administrators and legal teams in organisations using Google Workspace editions that include Google Vault. It helps them manage compliance and legal discovery requirements for AI-generated content.

Administrators can access these settings within the Google Vault interface. Navigate to the retention rules or litigation holds section and configure policies specifically for the Gemini app.
