Workspace Studio: New automation actions for Drive, Gmail, and Chat

Workspace Studio now includes new automation actions for Google Drive, Gmail, and Google Chat, allowing users to create flows that copy or move Drive files, and send replies in Chat or email. These actions enable end-to-end automated workflows directly within Workspace Studio.

This feature is for users and administrators across most Workspace editions, including Business, Enterprise, and Education, as well as those with AI add-ons, who want to automate routine tasks and improve efficiency. Administrators can control access to individual steps and require approval for actions that share data outside the organisation.

To use these new actions, open Workspace Studio, add a new step to your flow, and select one of the new options: 'Move Drive file', 'Copy Drive file', 'Send a Chat reply', or 'Reply to email'.
